Mechanical Behaviours of Fatigue Damage of the Rock Joints Under Pre-Peak Cyclic Shear Loading
Abstract
It is well known that most natural rock masses contain structural planes such as joints, faults, fissures and weak layers, that their shear mechanical behaviours are significantly different from those of intact rock masses, and that the shear mechanical behaviours play an important role in the structural stability of rock masses.
