Abstract

The goal of this chapter is to turn futures thinking into decisions and designs. It is a shift from “What will happen” to “What future we are building and what we do next.” We define criteria for desirable futures → scan & synthesize (STEEP+V/PESTLE) → build scenarios (Cone, Wheel) → rehearse with artefacts → pick options, triggers, and experiments.
