Abstract

In this publication, the following statement contains a numerical error: “while Libourel et al. (2003) reports a value of (2.21 ± 0.53). 10−9 mol N2 g−1 atm−1 at 1425 °C. The latter value would correspond to (6188 ± 1484) ppm/GPa.” Correct statement. The coefficient given by Libourel et al. (2003) corresponds to (618.8 ± 148.4) ppm/GPa. The coefficient is therefore only slightly larger than the one reported in the current study from experiments carried out at much higher pressures. Considering that these data are based on experiments that range over more than four orders of magnitude in pressure, the similarity of the Henry constants is remarkable.
