Abstract

Close collaboration between academia and industry has formed the cornerstone of a therapeutic revolution in the management and clinical outcomes of patients living with inflammatory rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs), driven by early diagnosis, treat-to-target strategies, and novel targeted therapies [1]. However, despite these remarkable advances, disease control can often be suboptimal for many patients, including partial or complete failure of clinical response, or secondary loss of efficacy even after extended periods of drug-induced remission.
