Congenital Tricuspid Valve Cleft Diagnosis Several Years after Pulmonary Valve Intervention
Abstract
In clinical practice, most cases of tricuspid regurgitation (TR) are secondary. In contrast, primary TR due to a leaflet cleft is a rare congenital anomaly, occasionally detected in the echocardiography laboratory.1 This condition is frequently associated with other congenital heart defects, including ventricular septal defects, atrial septal defects, and pulmonary valve stenosis (PS).2
