Abstract

New developments of kinetic behavior of chemical systems with conservatively perturbed equilibria are presented, specifically for the linear cases with one degree of freedom. New analytical expressions for transition curves with over- and under-equilibria, or "master curves" have been obtained. For two-step linear reactions, these expressions generate new kinetic invariances which are simple functions of kinetic coefficients. The found expressions will be useful for identifying the underlying mechanism, specifically with applications to solving the inverse problem in chemical kinetics.
