Abstract

Gear transmission systems, as critical elements of mechanical products, play a pivotal role in industrial fields such as aerospace, wind power, renewable energy vehicles, and engineering machinery. With the digital transformation of industries increasing demands for design efficiency and reliability, current manual-dependent modeling and drawing methods suffer from low efficiency and high error rates. These shortcomings lead to lengthy product design cycles and insufficient standardization of modeling and drawing, making it difficult to meet the rapid iteration needs of new-generation products. To address these challenges, this paper proposes an automated modeling and drawing method for gear transmission systems based on graphic module features. By developing a three-layer modeling framework comprising basic elements, graphic modules, and system assemblies, and establishing a drawing framework constrained by multi-coordinate system projection transformation and standard-compliant intelligent annotation rules, the proposed method reduces the generation time of 3D models and engineering drawings of mechanical transmission systems to within 5 minutes, significantly accelerating the design efficiency.
