Abstract

With the development of modern logistics, many facilities and technologies are utilized to improve the operational quality of last-mile delivery tasks. The issue of time consistency was not specifically discussed during past logistics models. However, in modern social life, solving the problem of time consistency is an important part to improve customer satisfaction and enhance system operational efficiency. This research introduces two models that adding cabinets customer satisfaction model (ACCS) analyzes when a new module is added to the original system, the direct and interactive effects of modules influence system evaluations, and spatial-time optimization problem of last-mile delivery (STOLD) chooses whether utilizing alternative strategies such as temporary storage point or storage cabinets to finish delivery tasks. Choosing alternative strategies to decrease time inconsistency may bring congestion level and other factors influence, and we need to calculate a reasonable range according to practical situations. Numerical experiment provides reference samples to illustrate the improvement of system elements based on various scenarios.
