Abstract

Writing in Green Chemistry , Zhengyin Piao et al. introduce an eco-design framework to scale up transparent conductive electrodes for flexible electronics with minimal environmental impact. Using silver nanowires printed on regenerated cellulose films as a model system, the team demonstrate how environmental performance can be prioritized early in the design process, guiding a scale-up that limits environmental consequences.
