Abstract

We read with great interest the systematic review and meta-analysis by Ding et al. examining the effect of T cell-related vaccines on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) activity and outcomes [1]. The authors provide a timely and comprehensive synthesis demonstrating that T cell-modulating vaccines do not significantly exacerbate IBD disease activity, offering important reassurance for clinicians managing patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy.
