End-to-end translation in neuroscience
Abstract
The British Neuroscience Association (BNA) Festive Symposium 2025, held on December 9, 2025, set out to examine what it really means for neuroscience to reach society. Rather than focussing on discovery alone, the meeting followed the route from mechanism to clinic—gene therapy delivery, biomarkers, regulation, and health-system readiness—with Huntington's disease researcher Sarah Tabrizi offering a rare example of how that path can be sustained in practice.
