Abstract

• Water deficit and heat stress increased for UK rapeseed over 1981–2020. • Concurrent water and heat stress had greater intensities and larger impacted areas. • Southeastern UK is experiencing higher risk of water deficit and heat stress. • Water deficit and heat stress negatively impacted rapeseed yields. • Water deficit indices predicted regional rapeseed yields better than heat stress.
