Abstract

Monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS) encompasses kidney diseases caused by nephrotoxic monoclonal immunoglobulins produced by small B-cell or plasma cell clones.1 Light- and heavy-chain deposition disease (LHCDD) represents a rare subtype characterized by non-organized immunoglobulin deposits along renal basement membranes.2 Diagnosis can be challenging when routine immunofluorescence fails to detect immunoglobulin deposition, particularly in cases with atypical histologic features.
