Abstract

Peripheral neuropathies due to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) treatment remain a common immune-related adverse event (irAEs).1-3 ICI-related neuropathies (irPNs) improve often after steroid and/or intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) treatment. They may, however, display resistance to immunomodulatory treatment or long-term functional sequelae. Additionally, no clear data are available on the management of ICI rechallenging after a treatment-refractory irPN. Tocilizumab is an interleukin-6 receptor (IL-6R) inhibitor approved in a variety of autoimmune diseases and described in cases of steroid-refractory irAEs.
