Abstract

The pharmacodynamic mechanisms of oral SERDs, competition for E2 binding and ER degradation, may retain activity in the presence of higher E2 levels of premenopausal pts with ER+ early BC differently from aromatase inhibitor. The SERD giredestrant (G) showed improved anti-proliferative activity vs anastrozole (A) in postmenopausal pts (coopERA trial), and superior iDFS in the Phase III lidERA trial, which required G+LHRH for premenopausal pts. We investigated the anti-proliferative activity of G +/- LHRH.
