Abstract

We thank Korn and colleagues for their thoughtful and constructive comments on our study evaluating the proposed TNM reclassification using a 3-cm cutoff to discriminate cT1a and cT1b renal masses in the context of active surveillance (AS) [1]. We appreciate their interest in our work and agree that growing evidence supporting refinement of traditional size thresholds is highly relevant for the contemporary management of small renal masses (SRMs).
