Abstract

The proband is status post complete tumor resection and undergoes surveillance through the Neuro-Oncology clinic at Mayo Clinic. Based on the recently published AACR guidelines, we recommended annual neurologic examination and MRI of the brain and spine from diagnosis until age 30, then every 2–3 years thereafter, or sooner if symptoms develop. Genetic counseling was provided to the family for discussion of surveillance, recurrence risk, and reproductive risk. Family variant testing was discussed with the family.
