O59: Combined donor and immune cell-free DNA signatures to enhance accurate detection of cardiac allograft rejection
Abstract
Diagnostic approaches for cardiac acute rejection predominantly focus on assessing the allograft, often neglecting the concurrent immune responses activated during transplant rejection that may lead to the release of immune cell-derived cell-free DNA (cfDNA). This proof-of-concept study evaluates the diagnostic performance of a cfDNA approach that measures both donor and recipient immune cell compartments in relation to cardiac allograft rejection.
