Abstract

Transseptal puncture (TSP) can be challenging in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) who have undergone atrial septal defect (ASD) occluder (ASDO) implantation. Notably, AF incidence remains high even after ASDO implantation.1 In some cases, TSP requires direct puncture through the occluder device. Here, we report a case of successful pulsed field ablation (PFA) in which TSP was performed by directly puncturing a large self-expanding occluder with a hubless left atrial disc.
