Abstract

Pulsed field ablation (PFA) has emerged as a novel ablation modality that preferentially targets myocardial tissue through irreversible electroporation, offering a favorable safety profile compared with traditional thermal ablation. Although coronary artery vasospasm has been reported during or immediately after PFA—most commonly with cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) or posterior mitral isthmus ablation—delayed ischemic events following pulmonary vein isolation (PVI)-only PFA have been rarely described.
