Inferior vena cava angiography through the protective sleeve for right-heart visualization in helix-fixation ventricular leadless pacemaker implantation
Abstract
Leadless pacemaker (LP) systems are increasingly adopted to avoid complications associated with transvenous leads and subcutaneous pockets.1–3 Among ventricular LP technologies, helix-fixation systems feature active fixation, retrievability, and potential for conduction system pacing through the right ventricular (RV) septum.3,4 However, their longer device length may require a larger turning radius and pose challenges during navigation, especially in smaller or vertically oriented hearts, venous tortuosity, or structural abnormalities.
