Considerations on phrenic nerve and sinus node safety during superior vena cava isolation using a balloon-in-basket pulsed field ablation system
Abstract
To the Editor: We read with great interest the recent article by Tilz et al,1 which describes a standardized workflow for superior vena cava (SVC) isolation using the balloon-in-basket pulsed field ablation (PFA) system. The authors should be congratulated for providing a clear, reproducible strategy and for highlighting the feasibility and acute safety of SVC isolation in this anatomically sensitive region.
