Abstract

• A multiply indicator PCA based system was established to evaluate glyphosate tolerance in Schisandra chinensis . • Four candidate accessions with both glyphosate tolerance and pharmacopoeia qualified lignan content were identified. • A stepwise regression model ( R² = 0.954) was developed for rapid tolerance screening.
