Abstract

Brain health refers to the interrelated functionality of cognitive, emotional, and motor systems, that is impacted by age-related diseases [1]. There is promising evidence for promoting brain health through modifiable health and lifestyle factors [2]. Since brain health is multifaceted, clinicians may address the topic with patients in a diversity of ways. A clearer understanding of how clinicians across disciplines and settings discuss brain health with their patients would help identify gaps in patient education and inform the development of consistent, evidence-based messaging for those at risk of cognitive decline.
