Abstract
We read with interest the research article by Trovato et al. [1] focusing on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) management in older adults. We compliment the authors for their work, underscoring the importance of a personalized approach and assessment of these specific patients with tools such as the geriatric 8 (G8) [2], for risk stratification and outcomes predictions, aiming to a personalized management and subsequently reducing treatment discontinuation, toxicity risk and potentially improving of quality of life (QoL).
