Abstract

Since its introduction almost two decades ago, the Sensory (Scratch) Collapse Test (SCT) has garnered attention as a provocative test used for clinically complex cases of nerve compression and nerve injury, specifically when conventional tests are inconclusive. The authors of this publication, with their enthusiasm to use the test and to incorporate it into clinical practice, represent early adopters of the SCT.1 It is important to note that to fully master the test, knowledge of surface anatomy is required, as well as a curious mindset and willingness to practice.
