Abstract

This research examined the entrepreneurial frameworks employed by Indonesian start-ups and their alignment with the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 8, which promotes sustained economic growth and decent work. Utilizing the Soft Systems Methodology, the research identified significant challenges within Indonesia's startup ecosystem, including limited access to financing, human resource limitations, and shortcomings in technological innovation. The findings underscore the imperative for tailored support systems and collaborative networks among stakeholders. The study identified several key leverage points in the entrepreneurial model of start-ups for achieving SDG 8, including enhancing market research and development, improving human resource competencies, increasing financial accessibility, strengthening networking, promoting sustainable education and incubation, and improving technological innovation. These targeted interventions are essential for developing resilient, scalable start-ups that can stimulate sustained economic growth and generate quality employment in Indonesia. This study enhanced the comprehension of effective strategies to cultivate resilient and scalable start-ups in the context of emerging sustainability.
