Extended version of the Fourier theory of angular spectrum decomposition with applications to the encoding of scalar and laser beams
Abstract
There exists a traditional Fourier theory aiming to the description of the angular spectrum decomposition of scalar or electromagnetic waves. Recent studies in the framework of the generalized Lorenz-Mie theory required the use of an extended Fourier theory to which this paper is devoted. Applications may concern the encoding of laser beams in the generalized Lorenz-Mie theory framework.
