Abstract

Based on the established integrated real-time simulation platform for the superconducting electrodynamic suspension (EDS) maglev "vehicle-track-traction-operation control" system, a three-car train model was constructed. Based on a high-temperature superconducting (HTS) EDS all elements test system, the simulation accuracy of the real-time simulation platform was calibrated, with an overall error of no more than 10%. Then, full-speed range simulation tests at 600 km/h were conducted on a digital test line spanning three stations and two sections with a total length of 106 km. The analysis focused on: (1) speed tracking accuracy and the dynamic balance between traction force; (2) force fluctuation characteristics during the three-step switching process of the traction system; (3) vehicle dynamics indices, including the dynamic response of levitation gap, and running stability. This study, for the first time, conducts a full-line real-time simulation assessment of the 600 km/h superconducting EDS maglev transportation system from the dual dimensions of "running stability" and "traction coordination capability." It not only verifies whether the system can operate but also provides an in-depth demonstration from the perspectives of "running smoothly, and controlling precisely." The simulation results systematically validate the engineering feasibility of the superconducting EDS maglev train achieving sustained operation at 600 km/h on an actual line, offering a crucial basis for track parameter design, traction system optimization, and operation control strategy formulation.
