Abstract

Coronary artery calcification complicates PCI and is associated with suboptimal stent expansion and adverse outcomes. This meta-analysis compares intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) alone versus IVL with adjunctive atherectomy in calcified coronary lesions, addressing the clinical uncertainty regarding the incremental benefit of adjunctive atherectomy.
