Managing mental health problems after mild traumatic brain injury: a clinical priority
Abstract
A few years ago, I was involved in a car–bicycle accident. I went headfirst into the wing of the car, denting the car’s metalwork and fracturing my seventh cervical vertebra. I briefly lost consciousness, became confused and disorientated, and was hospitalised for several days. A couple of months later, I became anxious and depressed and needed the help of an experienced cognitive psychologist.
