Abstract

Bio-magnetic fluid dynamics is a branch of research that examines how the biological fluids interact with a magnetic field (constant or applied). The chemical make-up of the biological fluid dictates how it will react to electromagnetic fields. Many areas of biomedicine and engineering rely on bio-magnetic fluid for various purposes including cancer therapy, medication delivery, MRI, surgery blood flow decrease and many others. Among the many the potential uses of thermophoretic particle deposition are drug delivery systems, substrate pattern generation and diagnostic tools for the collection and detection of specific biomarkers. This paper includes numerical simulation that uses the mathematical model developed to simulate the bio-magnetic fluid's behaviour when subjected to thermophoretic particle deposition. The equations relating to the proposed flow are transformed into ODE’s by selecting appropriate similarity variables. The simplified equations are evaluated using a shooting system and the RKF-45 technique and Homotopy perturbation method. With the use of graphics, we discuss the key parameters that influence the mass, heat, and flow profiles. Fluid temperature reduces for rising A parameter whereas temperature rises with rising values of β . The ShR e − 1 / 2 enhances for enhancing values of both ψ and Sc parameter. The C f R e 1 2 is decayed when the values of the A and γ parameters are increased. This is in contrast to the behavior that is seen with the NuR e − 1 / 2 .
