Abstract

In the global competition, optimal production-processes and product quality are essential for success. Particularly in special machinery manufacturing, challenges arise from complex product structures, fluctuating conditions, and diverse assembly forms, complicating process modelling and monitoring. The dynamic nature of these processes requires continual assessment and modification of planned production processes. This paper investigates various modelling techniques for production processes, evaluating their usability in the context of special machinery manufacturing. By analysing their advantages and disadvantages, the goal is to determine their capability in modelling production processes, monitoring progress in production and thus to improve transparency and resilience in the company.
