Smart and secure emergency vehicle to vehicle communication architecture using customized edge blockchain for internet of medical things
Abstract
The Smart Emergency Vehicles (SEVs) provide preventive measures by seamlessly transmitting informed causality information to nearby hospitals. The proposed initiative involves disseminating information regarding fatal injuries to nearby vehicles as well as hospitals using vehicular communication systems. Decentralized blockchain network is used to securely transfer data about patient health conditions to edge node servers near SEVs. In addition, a novel hybrid principal component regression algorithm is introduced on the node server side through inductive transfer learning. Trusted edge servers collect and transmit the deteriorating condition of patients to update the target edge nodes with limited labelled features. An optimized boosting algorithm is applied to identify patients in need of immediate attention. Block operations per second determine the network efficiency and the amount of time it takes to service a patient. Compared to other regression models, the proposed model has a better R 2 value of 98 % approximately. With a reduced dimensionality feature space, it achieves 95% prediction accuracy relative to other models in nearby hospitals. The proposed approach provides quick, secure, and safe medical assistance to the public through edge-to-edge network connectivity.
