Abstract

The current metamaterial absorbers' low thermal resilience and restricted broadband absorption, that limit their use within high-temperature solar radiation collecting devices. In this paper, we study the cascade ring-shaped metamaterial MXene(Ti 3 C 2 Tx)-based solar thermal absorber (CRMMSTA), which was designed and analyzed with the finite element method (FEM). This novel metamaterial absorber resonator, created with MXene and a substrate, is based on Cr. To enhance the outcome of CRMMSTA, various substrate materials are used. Cr substrate has higher thermal stability (around 2200 K), which is suitable for higher temperatures. This CRMMSTA absorbs >96% absorption with 99.99% maximum absorption from 200 to 3000 within a broadband bandwidth of 660 and 580 nm. Additionally, examine the CRMMSTA transverse electric (TE) and magnetic (TM) fields, with incident angles spanning 0 to 80 degrees, as well as the intensity of the magnetic and electric fields. The uniquely designed absorber is employed for futuristic solar dryer Mining Applications.
