Abstract

Highlights● A thermal management system with a heat-conducting block with gradient contact surfaces and a microchannel flat straight tube is designed.● In order to further improve the temperature uniformity, a heat-conducting block with a combination of variable gradient face angle and variable gradient height is proposed.● An optimal design is presented with system weight, pump power consumption and cooling performance taken into consideration.
