Abstract

Nanofluid flow through a gyrating cone finds specific applications in spacecraft thermal modules, spinning-cone reactors, solar collectors, and nano-lubrication systems where enhanced heat transfer and rotational dynamics are important. Motivated by these sustained applications, this study intends to evaluate the effects of Dufour diffusion, Joule heating, thermal source, thermo-Brownian, heat dissipation in thermally radiative flow of mixed convective two-phase magnetohydrodynamic reactive nanofluid over a gyrating absorbent cone. The solutions of model's final nonlinear ordinary differential equations are derived via the combination of fourth order Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg (RKF) scheme and shooting technique. The computed results exposed that, cone rotation promotes secondary flow patterns, which in turn stimulate fluid radial motion and modify the velocity profile. Angle inclination, Brownian motion and material porosity stimulated to rise the primary velocity near to the cone wall and then decelerate away from the wall but viscous heating, thermophoresis and Joule heating effects unveiled opposite trend. The secondary velocity and fluid temperature augmented with thermal source, viscous and Joule heating effects. Thermophoresis and thermal Biot number effects caused to enhance fluid temperature. Likewise, Brownian motion, solute Biot number and chemical reactions in the flow impelled to depreciate fluid concentration. The primary and secondary wall frictions mitigated by magnetic field, radiation, thermophoresis but both wall frictions improved by Brownian motion and porosity effects. The thermo-Brownian and electrothermal impacts caused to degrade the Nusselt number. The Sherwood number noticeably raised by thermophoresis and Lewis number. Additionally, current methodology has been validated against the existing literature and ascertained excellent accuracy.
