Influence of curing temperature on mechanical and viscoelastic properties of siliglass platinum silicone for Fiber Bragg Grating sensors encapsulation in flexible and wearable applications
Abstract
• Curing temperature strongly influences Siliglass mechanical behavior, with higher temperatures reducing elongation and increasing stiffness. • Stress relaxation is dependent on both curing conditions and loading parameters, showing faster decay at higher strains and strain rates. • Finite element modeling accurately predicts viscoelastic response. • This work supports the tunability of Siliglass for biomedical and flexible electronics applications.
