Abstract

The implementation of green human resource management (GHRM) in aviation health services is a crucial strategy for the aviation industry in reducing carbon emissions, the effectiveness of which is greatly influenced by the role of corporate culture as an internal mediator that encourages sustainable organizational behaviour. This study aims to examine GHRM in improving aviation health services as part of the industry's strategy to reduce carbon emissions, focusing on the mediating role of corporate culture. This study uses a quantitative approach with data obtained through a survey of employees in the aviation health service sector from several major airlines in Indonesia. The analysis was conducted using SEM to examine the connection between GHRM implementation, corporate culture and its contribution to the use of industrial emissions. The results show that GHRM has a significant influence on the creation of a pro-environmental corporate culture that facilitates the improvement of sustainable aviation health services and has an impact on emission reduction efforts. Corporate culture is proven to mediate the link between GHRM and the achievement of organizational environmental goals. These findings provide theoretical implications that the integration of GHRM and corporate cultural values is a key combination in creating ecological transformation in the aviation industry. Practically, this study encourages aviation organizations to develop a GHRM system that is in line with corporate cultural values in order to support sustainability and better occupational health.
