Abstract

The article proposes a test stand designed to investigate rotor characteristics, bearing vibrations, and the dynamics of gear systems. The device features adjustable shaft spacing, modular housings, and options for torque transmission using gears or belts. Safety and flexibility are ensured through robust construction and adaptable configurations. The stand supports the simulation of imbalances and radial preloads, enabling a wide range of experiments. By addressing limitations in existing solutions, the design provides a foundation for future research and development in rotor diagnostics and the optimization of rotating machinery. Validation and prototyping are planned next steps.
