Abstract

Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is an autoimmune liver disease characterized by the presence of specific autoantibodies. The antimitochondrial antibody type M2 (AMA-M2) is the main serological marker, but its absence in some patients justifies the search for other autoantibodies. This study aims to evaluate the relevance of anti-HK1 and anti-KELCH12 autoantibodies as new markers for the serological diagnosis of PBC. A search for anti-HK1 and anti-KELCH12 autoantibodies was conducted using ELISA in 55 patients with PBC and 25 healthy controls.
