Targeted Delivery of RNA Therapeutics through Ligand Conjugation
Abstract
RNA therapies have demonstrated promising potential for a myriad of clinical treatments in treating various diseases. However, significant unresolved obstacles are achieving precise delivery to specific tissues. This Viewpoint examines the inherent obstacles encountered by ligand-functionalized oligonucleotide conjugates and RNA-LNPs and the strategies to overcome them to achieve the desired therapeutic outcomes.
