Copper-Assisted Oxidative One-Pot Heterodifunctionalization of Cyclopentane-1,3-diones
Abstract
A novel one-pot oxidative heterodifunctionalization of saturated cyclopentane-1,3-dione has been developed via the aza-Michael addition of the NMe 2 radical generated from DMF solvent for the first time. This methodology offers a straightforward approach for the synthesis of aminated, halogenated, and chalcogenated cyclopentenone derivatives using copper halide as the halogen source and dichalcogenides as the chalcogen source.
