Photoinduced Palladium-Catalyzed Denitrogenative Cyclization of N -Aroyl Benzotriazoles to Phenanthridinones
Abstract
A photoinduced Pd-catalyzed denitrogenative cyclization of N -aroyl benzotriazoles was developed. Employing commercially available Pd 2 (dba) 3 /XantPhos as the catalyst and PhSiH 3 as the additive, a series of N -aroyl benzotriazole derivatives was efficiently converted to phenanthridinones under mild reaction conditions.
