X-Type Silyl Ligand-Controlled Regiodivergent C–H Borylation of Isoquinolines
Abstract
An X-type silyl ligand-controlled regiodivergent C–H borylation of isoquinoline has been achieved. The bidentate SiN ligand ( L1 ) favors N-directed C–H borylation on the 1-aryl ring, while the SiNN pincer ligand ( L2 ) facilitates undirected C–H borylation at positions 6 and 7. The t -Bu/Me group on the silyl ligand proves to be the optimal combination to promote the undirected pathway.
