Abstract
My research leverages chemically induced proximity (CIP) to develop innovative molecular tools.By simplifying OGT inhibitors and employing a ligand-directed strategy, we created noninhibitory covalent ligands for O-GlcNAc transferase (OGT).Utilizing intracellular self-assembly, we subsequently built a new generation of OGTACs.I am currently engineering novel OGTACs with enhanced selectivity and efficiency for inducing O-GlcNAcylation.Our group aims to precisely decipher the biological roles of O-GlcNAcylation and its disease relevance, with the ultimate goal of translating these insights into pioneering therapeutics.
