Abstract

Bilayer graphene has been used to observe robust interference patterns consistent with the presence of fractionally charged quasiparticles known as non-Abelian anyons. Demonstrating and controlling this interference is a crucial step towards harnessing these elusive quasiparticles as building blocks for fault-tolerant quantum computers. Observation is a step towards fault-tolerant quantum computers.
