REPLY TO “Ecogeomorphic feedbacks influence elevation change across microtidal wetland settings of coastal Louisiana”
Abstract
Wilson et al. 1 raise a few concerns about our study 2 , focusing on (1) our perceived neglect of marsh-edge erosion, (2) the impact of flooding on freshwater swamps, and (3) the role of ecogeomorphic feedbacks. We appreciate this opportunity to elaborate on these issues and to demonstrate that our conclusions remain fully supported by the best available data.
