Abstract

C–H/O interactions between Pro C–Hα bonds and sidechain oxygens (of Glu, Asp, Gln, Asn, Ser, Thr) were widely observed in the cis -proline conformation in the PDB, and were determined computationally to stabilize the cis -proline conformation.
