Abstract

The microsheet, nanoneedle and spider-web-like morphologies of Bi 5 O 7 NO 3 are directly obtained by the solvothermal method replacing water by butanol solvent. Increasing the surface area is suitable for the photodiscoloration of the indigo carmine dye.
